Colonial Gardens Residences offers respite stays at 2801 NW 55th Ave in Lauderhill, in the center of Broward County.

When families use respite care

What a short-term stay includes

Respite guests receive the same daily support as our residents: 24/7 care and supervision, help with daily activities, three meals a day plus snacks, housekeeping and laundry, and daily activities. Doctors and nurses are available on call, and our staff speak English and Spanish. People living with Alzheimer's or dementia may be able to stay in our secured memory care neighborhood.

How to arrange a respite stay

  1. Call or text (954) 484-1960 to check availability for your dates.
  2. Pre-admission assessment. Florida requires us to confirm we can meet your loved one's needs before any stay, short or long.
  3. Plan the stay. We'll review medications, routines and anything that helps your loved one feel at home.
