My mother moved in to Colonial 3 weeks ago and everything has been fantastic. From the 1st meeting with Ricki, I felt very good about the place. It's obvious she cares about the residents. Everything that was discussed before we agreed to move mom in was addressed 100%. I felt very comfortable with the whole move in process and mom loves her room. Coming from independent living to assisted, we had concerns how mom would adjust. She's very independent. The staff have done a great job of encompassing mom and bringing her into the social life of the community.

We recently moved our mother into this Facility and we are so glad we did. This facility is clean, adorably decorated into little individual houses and the staff are awesome. We love the activity coordinator Ms.Ellyn who loves everyone like family and treats every single resident like she would her own parents. We also love Ms.Noa, Ms Anna and Ms Kamara who have taken all moms worries as they help her daily with doctors, transportation and medication issues. Ms Ellyn makes activities, parties and puts her all into everything she does. Everyone is so sweet to mom and treat her very well. This Facility took over the hard jobs I had to do as I work full-time and have 5 children. They do moms medications, showers when needed, laundry, full meals (and snacks all day) as well as dance parties and icecream parties. We love Colonial of Fort Lauderdale and would recommend with five stars.
